POKER THREE
Description and Objective:
Poker Three is experiencing an explosion of interest in Internet and land-based casinos the world over. Players like it as it is a rapidly moving game that provides an interactive betting element. Poker Three contains two games in one. The Pair Plus is a simple game where you place a bet, receive a hand and are paid according to that hand. The dealer’s hand is irrelevant. There is no raising or no discarding. The Ante and Play component is a little more involved and explained below.
Pair Plus: Click on a chip then move your cursor to the middle of the screen over the “Pair Plus Bet” area and the click on it. Click the Deal button, you shall receive your hand. Any winnings shall then be paid. It's as simple as that!
Once you have played the Pair Plus game a few times, try the 'Ante and Play' version.
Ante and Play: First, place an ante bet. This is done in the same way a Pair Plus bet, except that you click on the “Ante” field, not the “Pair Plus Bet” field.
Click the Deal button and view your hand. Decide whether you want to fold and lose your ante, or Call. Base this on the strength of the three dealt cards. If you Call you must place another bet that equals your ante. You will then be shown the dealer’s hand.If you fold, you also lose your Pair Plus Bet if one was made. If you Call, your hand is compared to the dealer’s hand. Note that the dealer needs a Queen or better to qualify. The possible outcomes are:
1. The Dealer does not qualify so the Ante wins 1 to 1 and the play bet is returned.
2. The Dealer qualifies and you the player beats the dealer so both play and ante win 1 to 1.
3. The Dealer qualifies and the dealer beats the player. Here both the play and ante lose.
4. The Dealer qualifies and dealer ties the player: Both play and ante push.
In additional the Ante bet has an extra bonus that does not depend on the dealer's hand.
This pays accordingly:
Straight 1 to 1
Three of a Kind 4 to 1
Straight Flush 5 to 1
Please note that Aces play both high and low to a straight.
